Redirect Virus

What is a Redirect Virus and how do I get rid of it? The Redirect Virus AKA Google Redirect Virus, Browser Virus, Hijacker, Highjack Virus, etc... has been a huge problem on the web since about 2010. This virus was designed by expert hackers with the sole purpose of making money. The Redirect Virus is quite brilliant really. It is introduced to the victims system in the same manner as most viruses, through email, plugins, pop ups or websites.
